About GorgoPhotos!
Hey there, I'm Gorgo, a Dutch fursuit photographer based in Amsterdam. Welcome to my page!
Aloha, I'm Gorgo!
I’m a furry photographer from the Netherlands, specializing in capturing the energy and joy of furry conventions, furmeets, and community events.
From First Photo to Today
I began photographing the furry community in 2023, starting small at local furmeets. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion, fueled by the energy of the community and the joy of capturing its moments. Since then, GorgoPhotos has become a recognized name across the Netherlands, and hopefully soon, continues to grow internationally.

My Philosophy...
Quality always comes first. Every photo I release has been carefully selected and refined to meet the highest standard I hold myself to. This means I might take a little more time to make sure each and every photo is to my satisfaction, but that time is always worth it. The result is a consistent body of work where every picture is given the same attention and care, often leading to not just strong individual shots but full galleries people can truly enjoy.
The Process Behind Every Photo!
What might look like a quick snapshot at a furmeet is actually the result of hours of work.
Here’s the general process, behind every photo:
1. Finding the Event
I look out for meets, conventions, and activities by the use of multiple announcement channels where I can meet new people and capture great moments.
2. Preparation
I prepare my gear, ready to travel to the location and adapt to different lighting, and the dynamic energy of the crowd.
3. Capturing the Moment
At events, I’m always on the move, staying focused to capture great photos and highlighting great moments.
4. Sorting
After the event, I carefully go through all the photos, removing duplicates, brury shots or missed shots.
5. Editing
This is where the magic happens! Each photo gets individual attention, color correction, cropping, retouching, until I’m satisfied with the result.
6. Organizing
After editing the photos, it's time to export the photos in the needed formats and to sort them into folders. The photos aren't only sorted by format, but all the upto the individual suiters.
7. Sharing
The final photos are uploaded to my website and socials for everyone to enjoy. On top of that, I personally try to send your photos directly to you, often tracking people down on Telegram so noone misses out.

The Editing Process!
The photos you see online aren’t just straight out of the camera. Every image goes through a careful editing process where I adjust lighting, colors, and details to make the photo shine. Sometimes it’s subtle, bringing out a suit’s vibrant colors, fixing lighting from a tricky venue, or it’s more transformative, turning a good photo into one that truly captures the energy of the moment.
Brightness
Adjusting brightness is usually the first step, creating the base and balance for the photo.

Fixing Exposure
When light isn’t even across a photo, highlights and shadows are adjusted to restore balance.

Polishing
Once brightness and exposure are set, the photo is polished to reach the desired final look.

White Balance
Lighting can distort colors, so white balance is corrected to bring lighting back to natural tones.

Color Fix
Unwanted colors, often seen in party lighting, are removed to highlight the tones that matter.

Dehaze
Haze from distance or direct light is reduced, making the photo sharper and more detailed.

Removing Details
Small distractions, like creases in a backdrop or floor debris, are carefully removed in editing.

Creating Mood
Some photos need deeper adjustments, reshaping colors and light to create a strong atmosphere.

Why It Matters!
For me, photography isn’t just about the images—it’s about connection. I want every suiter and attendee to feel seen, valued, and able to relive their best memories. That’s why I dedicate so much time not only to the photos themselves, but also to making sure they reach you directly.
